ABOUT

We rely on our oceans in countless ways, but the most pressing right now, being their role as a global climate regulator. This means that if the ocean is sick, then we, too, are sick. By 2021, our government is banning all single-use plastics, including straws, six-pack rings, stir sticks, bags, cutlery and food-ware made from hard-to-recycle plastics. Look…I get it. I hate paper straws too. They turn to mush before you’ve even had your 3rd sip. But I hate plastic more. I created Pieces Against Plastic to do my part in fixing this epidemic. I create ocean art which creates conversation about how the health of the oceans directly relate to our health as a species, on land.
