AIM Youth Ottawa is a youth led organization whose mandate is to act, innovate, and motivate others to create meaningful change. Since its foundation in 2019, AIM has raised over 200$ and awareness for the CHEO Foundation, helped struggling students at Bell High School study for exams, and engaged numerous students in initiatives to improve the community. Currently, AIM members are working on hosting a Heartwarming Movie Night to raise funds and awareness for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Members are also planning a series of educational life skills workshops on topics such as nutrition, finances for graduates, and health and safety. Proceeds from these workshops go to disadvantaged Bell HS students. AIM's largest project at the moment is the Ottawa Water Festival, which is tentatively scheduled for July 4, 2020. This event will raise money and awareness for Indigenous communities in Ontario lacking access to clean water and sanitation.
