Brooke C updated their initiative's about.
Remove the Mask is focused on encouraging young people to be their authentic selves! I will be going into elementary schools (grades 6, 7, 8) to have genuine discussions around themes of empowerment, acceptance, and self-love. We'll learn to take back control of our thoughts, to have positive mindsets, and more. I want young people to know that they are perfect just the way they are. Let's teach kids to remove their masks and be their authentic selves. These topics may seem hard or complicated, but together we can have open conversations that will lead to successful, happy and authentic young people! DeclanLM updated their initiative's about.
In July of 2019, I visited Ottawa University to find that their cafeterias have gone waste free. Everything used in the cafeteria was biodegradable or reusable. I thought something similar should be implemented at my school, Brookfield High School. For my initiative, I created a program at my school where around once a month, students can bring absolutely zero waste to school in exchange for various rewards. View Initiative
